External USB keyboard?

Is there a small external USB keyboard that will work with the Droid? If drivers needed to be loaded with root, that is fine too.

Small like laptop size. Something you can actually type on.

The point is are there drivers available for a rooted Droid?

I forget what it's called, but theres an application (for computer) that lets you plug in your droid and control it on your screen... not quite what your asking, but similar

There have been numerous questions about the availability of a bluetooth keyboard capability. And as far as I know, no such animal exists. I doubt seriously that a usb keyboard exists either.

You can use ADB to control your phone, but really only for debugging purposes. I dont know if the phone supports the BT Profile necessary for a BT keyboard, but it might be a nice thing for a bored dev to work on.

Either way, I believe the answer to the USB thing is no. I'm pretty sure the phone cant handle hosting a USB device. I dont think it has the necessary juice or hardware.
