Export Email Settings?

My school has it where we can use exchange to get our emails. I was able to get it setup on the stock email app but am not able to with K9 Mail. My questions are: Is K9 Mail any better?, Is there a way to get K9 Mail to import the email settings from the stock email app? And is it worth the hassle?
