Exchange issue after 2.1 sbf

So i recently sbf'd back to 2.1 from froyo on my x. I've been trying to set back up my exchange account to no avail. Has anyone had this issue? Every other smart phone user at work is able to connect. I believe its a issue with our new ssl and since they were alredy set up it didn't effect them. What do u guys think? Wipe again or do i need to sbf again.

Use the mail apk from the MotoDroid. It will work for exchange on 2.1. The exchange mail issue your having is fixed in 2.2 though.

What's odd is that i got my emaiks via fetch last week before i went back to 2.1. But the same day i went back to stock out server admin changed some settings on the exchange server. Now i can't connect but a friend of mine who has it set up the same way is getting his email. Is it something that the tech did and because i reset and the other droid user didn't?
