empty trash for POP3 email

I Have done a search of the forums but did not find the exact answer I was looking for. is there a way to empty the trash folder for a POP3 email or select all?

Do you receive your pop3 email through gmail? If so then the easiest way is to go on line to your Gmail account and go to the trash, select all, empty forever.

If you're talking about the other email app, I don't believe that has trash to empty.

Nope only way is one at a time, same with the sent and draft folder
touch the little box on the left side and a checkmark will appear and you have to check each one individually then hit the delete button

this is email strickly from verizon.net, not gmail.

Booo... one less start for android. hopefully they will fix this in 2.1.
