emailing ringtones

ok so i just send my phone via email a ringtone...got it as a pic message, it plays the clip...now how do i save it so i can put it as a ringtone???

The included email program has serious problems with email attachments. Bottomline - You may not be able to save the attachment. I know that's silly, and can't be true, but it is.

If you do a Google search on "droid attachments" you'll see many threads about the issue. There is no easy answer, and in most cases no solution.

If you copy the ringtone to the sd card you can set it as a ringtone from there.

When you play the song hit Menu > Use as Ringtone

hmmmm i tried sending it usuing my microsoft outlook account on my laptop too...just plays the clip no way to save it...wtf lol
