email app vs yahoo app for droid

Hello all,
Is there a way to remove the yahoo email app that came out before the "official" yahoo email app.

Do you mean the built-in email app (there wasn't an unofficial yahoo email app)? Unless you are rooted you can't delete it.

You can, however, remove your yahoo account from the email app so you don't get the notifications and such.
