DX is rebooting after it installs an app

I looked around the forum, but I didn't find this specific issue. Does anyone know what could be the issue? What info could I provide to help figure this out? Thanks.

Try calling *228 and hit option 2 to update your network coverage. once thats done it might reset your phone. then try and download an app and see if it reboots.

Thanks for the suggestion, ryan. I tried it, but after the programming bit the unit didn't restart. I then downloaded an app from the market and it rebooted after installation as it has been.

The factory reset? Yeah, I've considered it. It's a last resort, but it does bring up a question. If I do that, will everything on my SD card remain or be deleted? Should I take the card out if I do factory resets? I'll probably back it up on my PC anyway just to be sure. Thanks again.

i would take the card out right before just to be on the safe side.

do you need steps on how to reset your phone?
