Droid X won't reboot in recovery

I am having trouble rebooting in recovery. Through Clockwork mod and Bootstrapper. I get the bootstrap menu to choose to reboot when choosing reboot in recovery but it then reboots as normal. When doing it through ROM Manager it begins to reboot on the installation screen but gives me the exclamation point triangle then quickly shoots to rebooting like normal. Please help.

First off try not to double post. This same one is in hacks. In Bootstrap did you make sure to hit top button? If you get success, hit ok and then reboot recovery.

I am having this same problem. I used Superoneclick to root. Then I installed droidx bootstrap from the amazon market. I clicked on bootstrap recovery: success!

I click on reboot recovery: hangs at the M logo

Any Ideas? I'm sure this has been solved by someone somewhere but I can't seem to find a solution. Thanks
