Droid X & PDAnet

I read somewhere that Verizon can block using PDAnet. Is this true? If not can the firmware at some point in time be changed to block this on an upgrade of the firmware? Thanks

I have been using PDA net for about 6 months with no problems I have not heard of verizon blocking it though. If you find out anything let us know.
