Droid x not reading SDcard??

Ok so I went to upload some things on my computer from my Droid X and it will not let me because it says that there is no SDcard in...there is an SDcard in the phone and I have never removed the SDcard so I have no idea why it would not be working...any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.

Make sure you go to the pull down window and have your X set to USB Mass Storage or it won't see it.

I am so mad!! This phone is not reading my SDcard and I have no clue why...it was fine this morning and all of a sudden it is not reading it, all of my pictures are gone because it won't read it...please help!

Have you tried powering it off, pulling the card and the battery. Wait a few minutes, put the card back in along with the battery. Power it up and check things out.

It sounds like you and I are having the same exact problem. I created a thread on this forum called "Blank SD Card".

I just got off the phone with VZW tech support and he couldn't figure out what was wrong. From reading around other forums and such it seems like people who are having this problem usually have bad cards, as in they just suddenly go bad. I've had my phone for about 3 weeks now and it just suddenly stopped working. And no amount of battery pulling, SD card pulling, or powering off and on does anything.

I'm going to take it back to the store (although not today as we're snowed in) and have them try another SD card. Hopefully that's all it is.
