Droid X in the car issue

Hi Newbie here...may be a setting issue but i cannot figure it out.
When i get into my car the"Droid!" announcement sounds when it synchs with my Bluetooth. That is fine but it does it at least 4 times. It is quite annoying to me and others in the car.

Any suggestions welcome.
