I need some help finishing this up. I finally got the size of the main folder down to 14MB (which I think is still too big), but am now just getting a black screen on boot. I've pushed numerous BAs before, never made one though. Below are two links to the commercial broken down into png files. The Small one is 480 wide by 351, the larger one is the commercial just put into png files (I think they are around 655x480). If someone can hel finish this, I'd be forever grateful (at least until another sweet animation comes along).

Thanks in advance!

BTW, the commercial I am referencing is this one:
www.youtube.com/v/gOnC5chCag0

Here are the small PNG files,
with every other frame removed: blah.zip

Here is the regular sized with every frame: FullSized.zip

Hopefully someone can figure this out, I'd love to have this for a boot animation!

Here are the desc.txt and part1 folder contents. I checked and the folder names were correct when I transferred to my phone.

Thanks man. I'll check out the txt file and see what the hell I was doing wrong. I think it was that I saved desc.txt in regular notepad. Anyways, thanks for the help.

How many frames did you use? How did you get the folder so small?

Got it installed. Really like it, though is there a way to make it loop the very end instead of start the animation over again?

I created my own version of this video with high quality video. I cut about a 1/3rd of the frames to make it fit during my boot process. I also rotated the frames to make them fit the screen horizontally (to make full use of the screen space). It also doesn't loop at the end like the previous post's does. It should just go to a "DroidDoes" screen and freeze.

here you go:
bootanimation.zip

Hope you like it :)

Thanks! I was going to attempt this over the weekend, but now I can just enjoy a tall iced tea and watch the US spank Ghana :)
