Droid wont boot past boot animation

Please help newbie.

Installed Ultimate Droid Froyo beta 2, worked perfectly.
Installed smoked theme - renamed to update.zip, installation was successful, but phone just cycles through the boot animation repeatedly.
Please help

What operating system do you have on your computer?? Some operating systems put the .zip automatically on file names so when you renamed the theme update.zip the computer renamed it update.zip.zip. Try renaming your theme just "update" and put that on the root of your sd card, install it and see if that works.

I am running on vista. It went on as update.zip, but im deleting and trying again. Thank You.

Ok so it is going on sd as update.zip.zip. How to i get it to go as update.zip?
