Most of the time the virtual keyboard is fine, but sometimes it gets really sensitive. I would try to type "hello" and it would come out as "hheellllo" or something bazerk.

Anyone else have this issue?

Anybody else having this issue?

Mine is doing the same thing now and the onscreen keyboard is almost useless. I hit one letter and end up getting 2 or 3 in a row. Any ideas what could be causing this. Thought handcent was the cause but i uninstalled and the problem continues.

I love the digital keyboard. Holding the phone portrait i think the keys are a little close together...

Def not twitchy fingers. I've been using the phone for over a week with no problems and the problem just showed itself today.

It is intermittent and only seems to do it 50% of the time.

If I hold a button on the virtual keyboard it will repeat the character at a certain rate. sometimes it seems like its repeating 2-3 times faster than normal and this seems to be causing the problem

already tried a battery pull and still the same.

Could home++ be causing this? its the only app I havent tried uninstalling yet, but I've had it installed for a week with no issues.

UPDATE:

Uninstalled home++ and the problem disappeared. I'll be sticking with the default home until they get some of the bugs worked out of home++.

Thanks for the help.
