Droid Update 2.2 Suspended?

the 2.2 update probably wont be out this year, I got sick of waiting and listening to the games played by motorola, verizon and google so I just rooted the phone to 2.2 this weekend

i wouldnt say it is suspended. For months and months and months they have said the update will be out on this date and that date, but it never comes out.. im sure it will come out eventually, this year? IMO probably not..

i remember when we were waiting for the 2.1 update.. kept getting pushed back..

lets hope they push out 2.2 soon...

Androidforums has information from Verizon insiders that the OTA to FRG01B has indeed been suspended. Sources say that FRG22 will be rolled out starting next week instead.

FYI, people already running the leaked FRG22 rom already report that there are still bugs/issues present.

This is what everybody should do and forget about the freaking OTA!!

theyre just playing games, i bet they never come out with it. they want you to purchase the new phones with stock 2.2 instead of giving free 2.2. I was going to wait for the "legal" upgrade, but IMHO, it wont be coming
