A friend asked last night if it was possible to tether two droids, so I turned on wireless tether but his droid did not find it, did we miss a step,or will that not work?

Mine is SS4.8 med voltage 1Gig, his stock 2.2.

I have used my tethering to tether 2 other android phones at the same time. An X and Incredible, flawlessly.

In theory it SHOULD work for any host with WiFi capability, as long as you are talking about the wireless tether for root users app that most of us use, since it creates a simple access point that should be universally compatible.

I also tried with my wifes work blackberry, my wireless tether was on and working, the bb was seeing two other wi-fis but not the one from my droid she was not connected to either.

My archos 7 home tablet dosen't see the wireless tether either.

Am I doing something wrong?

^ +1 or the receiving device not supporting ad-hoc. I assume BB does accept it though.
