droid overseas?

so imma be going to korea for this week and i was wondering if droid works overseas and is it additional cost or does it not work at all? i hope wireless works there LOL

I suggest you call Verizon customer service & discuss your needs overseas with them. I'm sure your fone will work but it willl cost you some $. Have a great trip

I dont think so. Most non-USA countries use GSM (like AT&T and TMobile) which is incompatible with the CDMA networks Verizon and Sprint use. Just as the previous poster said, call VZW, and they'll hook you up with a SIM-based phone for your trip.
