Droid opening up wrong application

Hi, my droid has been doing this the past 3 or 4 days
If i open up messaging, it brings up weather
If i open up devotee, it brings up browser
If i open up camera, it opens up foursquare.

I've turned it on and off 4 times and it's still happening. Any ideas??

Has anyone had your phone to mess with it? Sounds to me like a practical joke...lol (That gives me an idea for my wifes phone...) Are you using the stock launcher, or a replacement (LPP, ADW, Panda, ect)?

I haven't replaced a launcher? I barely know much to do so I doubt I'm using another version haha

Id suggest you do a factory reset then.

Step-1

Press “Home” button, press “Menu” button and then tap on “Settings”.
Step-2

Tap on “Privacy”
Step-3

Tap on “Factory data reset”
Step-4

Tap on “Reset Phone” button
Step-5

Tap on “Erase Everything” button and your are done

i went through 6 droids already and this has happened on every single one of them... does anyone have a fix? same thing happens on my friend's droid2

i think this happens to me sometimes...i just keep hitting the back button and then things go back to normal? i dunno...it's weird. doesn't happen often though.

yeah i've tried that but it just keeps going back and back and goes through literally everything i've done on the phone. i'm surprised there aren't more people with this problem because my friend and i have the same problem and we both haven't messed with our phones at all, no rooting, no hacking, just plain regular apps from the market and i probably only have 10 apps max on my phone.

I bet if everyone compares a list of apps they have installed, you will find one in common. My guess is that one of the apps you have installed is messing it up.
