Droid Off Road GPS Replacement?

hey guys, i am wondering if anyone has a solution for using the droid to mark waypoints and view maps without cell service. i am currently playing with a few apps such as Maverick and AndNav, but i havent had any luck yet. i would like to use it on my atv as a gps replacement.

I downloaded an app called "My Tracks" I hoping that will do what you and I seem to be looking for. The weather here tho is holding my back from testing it.

Looks like a winner. Since it uses a poicture you take there is no reason it would not use a map that you can download. The only weakness is that there no to roll to another map. A tad pricey for me but a great idea.

My Tracks will track without coverage but you won't get maps without data.
