Yeah, I know of a few other members on here who suspected along with myself that the easyroot program was stolen as its timing was suspect, as well as its subsiquent removal. Thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks for the head's up for this thread, JDC.

Thanks WoZzY for passing this along. I hate code thieves and I don't even code. I wondered if this was the case, but I was willing to take it at face value. I'm going to stop including the phrase code thief when I talk about easy root at this point, and stress heavily that DMUpdater will be out soon for free.

Something is starting to look WAY, WAY wrong here, judging from the dates and some e-mails and pm's I've done today. Wozzy, can you name your dm source?

Please provide proof. We don't hide behind anonymity.

I'd appreciate it if the rumors stopped for once.

I already am aware of the post to our site.

What I'm asking for is proof that this "insider tip" was from either Camel, trevorj, SPS, vlcn, or myself.

My apologies. Your initial post was rather ambiguous as to your affiliation. Are you now saying that Easy Root isn't stolen code, and/or that the final release of DMUpdater will damage phones/SD card/etc.? I'm just confused here, because his post -- aside from the Easy Root part -- jives exactly with what that post said.

I do agree he should release the source. This isn't exactly Washington Post Watergate stuff. :)

What I'm asking, plain and simple, is for WoZzY to provide proof that he did get the alleged "inside tip" from a DroidMod affiliate.

I have no other comments, as all relevent information has been disclosed at DroidMod.org.
