Droid from Verizon in Europe

I wonder if my Motorola Droid will be working with European carriers. My Droid is from Verizone so there are probably some security. Is there any chance to remove such that I can use it in other carriers??? thx for help

Nope. Wi fi only.

Different radio systems in use there.

There are some CDMA networks in Europe but whether you could connect or not I do not know.
