Since many of the Droiders here know how to cook ROMs....

How many Droiders here know how to cook? What do you all cook/bake/conjure up when you aren't cooking ROMs, rooting phones, or what have you?

Share you favorite recipes here....

I'll start....

TimChgo9's Cheesy Steak Sandwiches...

1-2lbs of thinly sliced steak
1/2 tsp minced garlic
3tbsp finely chopped onions
3tbsp Olive oil
1/4 cup of margarine, or butter.
1/2 tsp of Garlic powder
1/4 tsp of Onion Powder
Dash of Paprika
Dash of crushed red pepper flakes.
A1 Savory Pepper.
Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
Salt
Pepper
Steak Seasoning
A loaf of sliced Italian, Sourdough, or bread of your choice.

Marinate steak in your marinade of choice. I just coat with the A1 Savory Pepper, and a bit of salt, and let sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. You can use steak sauce, teriyaki, whatever appeals to you.

Mix margarine or butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika and red pepper flakes in a small bowl and set aside.

Use a large skillet, or flat top grill. Heat olive oil, and saute onion and garlic until translucent, add steak (cut into strips if desired) on the grill/skillet, and cook to desired doneness. Take steak off the heat and set aside Spread garlic mixture on one side of two slices of bread, place bread with the mixture side down on the griddle/skillet, when it starts to sizzle, place steak on the bread, and place a desired amount of cheese on the steak, top with other piece of bread, flip with a spatula to grill other side. Grill to desired doneness or until cheese is melted on the inside. Serve with steak fries or potato chips, and side dish of your choice... Yields about 3-4 sandwiches per pound of steak.

Variations: use Swiss Cheese and saute some green peppers for a Philly Cheese steak variation. Add a bit of red pepper, hot peppers, or jalapeno slices with Chihuaha, or Asiago cheese.

That sounds good.... What's "Texas Pete"?

It's the BEST hot sauce.

The Orion smoker is my claim to culinary fame. I have tried for years to make the perfect ribs. I was never happy until I tried this smoker. Fall off the bone perfect, moist meaty and smoky the first time I tried it, and I have perfected since.

Thanks Giving and Christmas turkeys were absolutely awesome also!
