DROID and SSL

In order to connect to corporate email I have to have SSL enabled. Had a Storm for about six months, had to turn it in. Was waiting for Storm2, then saw the Droid coming to Verizon. Can't determine if Droid is SSL compliant. Tried searching forum, but SSL returns zero results.

can you post how you did it?

when i set it up for my win mo device i just need to copy the ssl certificate to the device via the sd card.

Yes please, I put the cert on my SD card but can;t figure out how to install it

i just saved the .cer file from a webpage (viewed via webmail page) to my SD card.

clicked download cer file in file manager

- my phone then says installed certificate


after this i'm able to configure and access MS Activesync.


HOWEVER - this is only for my winmo handset. I haven't purchased my android device yet so in Android may be different.
