Droid 4 ringtone issues...

I have been trying to change my ringtone from one that just magically took hold on my phone without my knowledge to the oneI actually want. I do this through the Sounds menu and when I test it, regardless of which file I choose or whether I choose through the Android settings menu or the Zedge menu, the unwanted ringtone stays put and will not be replaced.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
