Droid 3 restarts on its own

I know this is a previous topic. But what causes this? Randomly on mornings around 6am it will restart, along with that annoying 'DROID' sound. Anyway to stop either of these?

I'm not sure about the restarting, but if you are rooted you can remove the "DROID" sound from the boot animation with either ES File Explorer or Root Explorer.

What base are you on? Are you rooted? Running a rom? Need a little more info.

Okay... I'm not rooted, nor do have a ROM. Just a basic VRZ customer using D3 and it's associated bloatware.

Did you take an over the air update to .906 - check you firmware version in settings/about phone.

yes, did receive OTA 906 update.

I have not had that issue. The only thing I can think of is to factory reset, but that is a pain. I am rooted with Mavrom 4.5 and have had no issues.
