Droid 2 for Droid 2 Global?

So, is there any way I can trade in my D2 for a D2Global and pay like $100 or do I just have to buy the D2G at full price and switch?

You are going to have to pay full price - but unless you travel out of country often there really isn't a big difference between the two devices...not enough to justify that kind of purchase IMO

Can the Global work on other carrier networks in the future?

The only reason I was wondering was because I was at best buy and I was playing with a dummy model of the D2G and it seemed like it had a better keyboard build, and more pronounced buttons on the sides. also i liked the thinner form. But if i have to buy the whole phone, I'll just stay with my D2
