downloading music

hey guys i just purchased my first droid and see how easy it is to download music, does it slow the phones processing speed and battery when you download alot of music even if you have more than enough room on the memory card? thanks alot!!

storing songs on ur memory card will not affect battery life or speed.

The actual downloading has some impact but storing has no impact.
