downloading files from the internet

I'm currently trying to figure out how to download files off the internet onto my droid. More specifically I'm trying to download something from megaupload.com. anytime I hit the download link, nothing happens.

Any help? I'm currently using Simply Stunning 4.7 and I tried this from both the stock browser and Dolphin.

I have never had a problem downloading things from the mobile browser, when you tap the D/L link does it highlight, like it was selected ?

Yes, the link highlights. Just nothing happens
