Double tapping pictures doesn't work right..

Is it just me or does the screen not respond very well when double tapping pictures to zoom in?

I usually have to tap multiple times to get a response.

I just played with it and it seems to need two distinct taps not to fast, but not slow at all.

If you notice when you look at a pic its a little blurry and double tapping does nothing. Wait till it focuses and it works fine. Sometimes scrolling through the previous pic and back speeds it up.
