DIY Droid Dock/Stand - Using Legos or K'Nex

I just finished making a DIY dock using a spare hanger, but as I was taking a piss, I had a brilliant idea! Has anyone tried making a stand out of Legos or KNex? I think it would be much more simple and more aesthetically pleasing. And free if you already have some Legos or Knex to begin with =)

I've seen quite a few made from lego and fridge magnets. I don't think I've seen one made from knex. I like the knex idea

IF you use a case, like I do (4 year old son loves my phone) it will not fit in the OEM dock. SO making one, is an option. I think that Indestructables has a how-to for making a lego one. I will try to find it and link it. Or you can do what I am doing and get an ez-stand (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-accessories/24169-ezestand-ultimate-smart-phone-stand.html) and have a dock that you can use with a case.

I got cheeky and made one from an iHome product. I put in a data cable and the obligatory magnet to activate dock mode. It has speakers to play audio. The decorations were provided by someone in my absence..
