OK...so I keep finding new ways to use Droid. I know...I know...everyone in the world knows you can load up all you CDs on the Droid, but I just figured that out. Keep in mind...I do not own an iPod of MP3 player and until last year I did not even own a CD PLayer. I was still playing vinyl.

So now I have half my CD collection ripped and copied to the SD Card. I also have two GPS programs that store Topo maps of the entire state of Nevada. Plus all my rooting tools. All this stuff on my SD card it is getting close to full.

How do you deal with it when your card gets full? Do you carry multiple cards or do you get yourself a bigger card? Do they make decent 32 GB MSD cards? I'd like to get a class 6 but that sounds pretty expensive.

As I learn more and more about what this stupid phone does I am reminded of my wife's response when I asked if she wanted one (buy one, get one free promo was on when I got it). She said..."All I want to do is dial a number and talk to someone on the other end. LOL Now I get it.

i personally don't do it myself, but i know many people who do. sign up for Orb and leave it running on your computer, and download Orb on your droid. that way you can stream all the music/videos/pictures off your computer on to your droid. no need to buy a bigger memory card because it's all stored on your computer instead of on the phone itself.

I use my memory card as "now" storage...
Not "permanent" storage...

If you got all that music on your computer .. why store it all on the Droid too... I just bring some albums with me and some video's... and after awhile I start thinkin I need a switch so I plug in and change it all up... how often do you actually use ALL that stuff...

It's the same with apps... I use the market as storage... how often do I actually use PicSay pro photo editor... and when I do wanna use it I can download it in 15 seconds... it's in my downloads file as "purchased".... I figure why hog up all my internal memory with stuff that's already stored on somebody elses server...

6000mb free on my SDcard
200mb free internal memory
All the time
Keeps the Droid runnin quick

Well...I feel pretty silly now. I looked up the price on a 32 gb micro sd card which motivated me to take a closer look at what I had on my SD Card. My nandroid backup folder had 12 GB of backups in it. There was one day where I did a whole bunch of backups...must have been one of those days where the custom rom installs just weren't going right. LOL

With all my maps and music and everything for rooting I am tieing up 4 GB.

130 bucks for a 32 GB Micro SD card! Holy Sheep %^$!
