Delayed texts?

Hey guys...I got my Droid 3 a couple of weeks ago and over the time I have had it I have had a few occurrences where I would be texting people then the texts would stop....the next day I randomly I would get a bunch of texts at the same time which people said they sent earlier that day or the day before.

The weird part is that I'm in the Denver area and just about everywhere I go has good reception and I usually have 4 bars. So even if I have bad reception one place.. I still don't get the texts once I'm in good reception area. I also had one person try to call me during a time which I wasn't getting texts and they said that it seemed as if I had turned off my phone.

Any idea if this is the phone or maybe verizon?

Hi. I noticed that the Droid 3 seems to maybe get confused when I have a contact that has both home and cell numbers listed. I tried to have it check just the mobile phone for texts, but that was not working, so I set up a separate contact for the person's cell phone and one for their home and that seemed to solve it. Maybe this will help. Goodluck!
