defaulting to HTC_IME keyboard only, possible?

My apologies if this has been answered, I had done a few filter searches and no luck.

I'm trying to fully disable the "Android Keyboard" since the HTC_IME keyboard is working nicely.

Is it possible to have that applied thru Terminal or a tool app? Each time I reboot the droid, both keyboards are "checked". Thanks in advance if there's a work around from my manual workings.
