Dear developers...

...please stop making puzzle games. I'm tired of having to sort through dozens and dozens of puzzles to find a decent game. K thx.

Not that this thread is going to make a but of an impact, but +1.

I'd rather see google improve their market to include deeper categorization of apps and games, and enhance the searching and sorting.

Additionally...please take the extra days or weeks it takes to polish the program into something I'm justified in paying for. I hate the iPhone but the iPhone games put ours to shame most of the time...

This. PLEASE.

Also get rid of all the:

Slider puzzles
Memory games
Bejeweled/samegame clones
Brickwell
"Lights out"
"Touching games"

Countless amounts of trash apps...

LOL, i don't know about you guys, but i eat up the puzzle games... they are among the best sellers too...

specifically all the games by Camel Games... they're stellar!

Blowup
ShootU
Super Tumble
Space Physics

I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't mean that kind of puzzle game, I only have ShootU of those you mentioned and it's pretty good :)

No, I love ShootU! I'm tired of slider puzzles themed around various pop culture, Bejeweled rip offs, etc. I don't care how well they sell, we have enough. I'd gladly pay iPhone App Store prices for games that are actually worth a crap.

Paper Toss is fun and clever. Physics based games are a real growth area for all handsets.

Well i for one agree and disagree.

1. Those puzzle games are probably a stepping stone in learning how to code. I wish them luck and success for better things to come.

2. The games section has genres. Why don't you just NOT click on puzzle games?

THIS would be a really good soloution. and im also hating the sliding puzzle crap. This is one of the few downsides of opensource that every ape can bring his wannabe games to the market.

I agree that it should be more distinct with the market.

Like a CRAP and a NOT CRAP section! :icon_ banana:

and you look down at all the Just In apps, wtf are people doing these days? lol (:
