Day of Week

Is it possible to show the day of week in the status bar beside the time?

Not that I've seen, but you can put "DigiClock" (a Widget) up near the top of your home screen. It'll show the time, date and day of week.

There's also a widget called "retro clock widget" that has a date widget separate from the time widget
