data throttling

ok so i just installed apex 1.4.0 and i want to use the data throttle hack. i have ran the updatetb script and that i heard fixes many things... so is it safe to alter the services.jar file? and will it mess up?

there is no problem i just want the peoples opinions

Not sure if it had anything to do with the data throttle hack, but my Navigation went south getting stuck on "Getting Driving Directions". I had to reload ApeX 1.4.0 and restored everything except the Data Throttle hack and my Navigation is working again.

dont do what you are doing. just go to the apex toolbox in terminal emulator and do it there. it works perfectly.

thats what i meant i did and i decided to do the data hack and cannot tell any difference with speedtest... is there a command to use to see if it worked?

Go to Settings>Wireless & networks>Mobile networks

If mobile networks will not open when you tap on it, then it worked.
