Custom Blur Home

Is anyone interested in a custom blur homepage? I finally figured out how to edit it and I can do any colors, change the icon in the middle and well.. any icon for that matter. I just need to know who's interested and I'll go from there. Any input or CC (creative comments) are HIGHLY appreciated.. this is my first custom anything for android. dancedroid

Hope you guys like dark theme for starters... I can do any colors. I'm just modifying the blurhome.apk . I can host this apk if you guys want. I can explain how to add it in. I've been adding mine to themes ive been porting/testing. So far its working great

haha.. that was my original design. guess i should have left it that way. I'm currently working on the scroll icons as well. You know how when you move from different pages that it shows those red dots and arrows and a red home icon? yeah.. gonna try changing those up. so a green and black theme eh? green with black hover or black with green hover? I can do either

Nice. I would have stuck with the Blur buttons if they weren't white... and if other Launchers weren't so awesome. Ha!

haha.. surprised its not more of a red and white that you like being from ohio as well


I'm from Dayton area though.. not a big OSU fan.


Updating pictures after this next test. Anyone wanting to be testers? I'd prefer someone with advanced knowledge of this stuff so that if it messes up .. you can get to a backup or recover.

Thanks, by the way guys, the I got the silver apps icon from the files for Gingerbread. Thought it looked kinda cool.


For those wanting to test this, let me know which one you want to test (as far as colors) and I will host the APK tonight for download.

Currently working on porting a theme for this ROM so.. that being said, it may take a day or two to make other requests. I plan on releasing Red/Black, Blue/Black, Red/White, Blue/White, White/Green, Black/Green, and Orange/White Orange/ Dark Gray (didn't want to do solid black with this one, as it will look too halloweenish lol)

Any other requests are welcome, just be patient and with time I'll get to it.

I'll also post my ported theme when I can get the decompiling and compiling completed and correct.

definitely attractive looking. I really like the black and green icons, but i'm sorry to say i'm still going to stick with LauncherPro. Maybe you could photoshop up some dock bars for LP with your colors mixed in?

cant say that I've ever used LauncherPro, but I can always look into making a custom bar for it. I'm sure there's a tut out there somewhere.
