Can anyone tell me if it is possible to save email attachments in a folder that can be retrieved as needed? If so, that would truly make this a "Smart Phone." I would like to save documents created in Word and Excel.

Almost! Could you explain to me a little clearer? I see in my included apps is a blank folder. I'm assuming I can store documents (I hope) in a folder, labeling what I want it to be called. I would like to open an email that has an attachment and save that attachment in one of these folders that I can open as needed. I did create a folder on my SD Card via my computer. I placed two of the documents I want immediate access to, in the folder. But now I don't know how to retrieve that folder from the SD Card using my Droid options; nor do I know yet how to drop those documents in a folder supplied by Motorola on the Droid. Thank you.
