Could you help me root my eris 2.1

Hi guys and gals I really appreciate all the help i always get in these forums. im trying to root my Eris that i bought when it came out. i manually upgaded it to 2.1 but really have no idea where to start. any help is welcome. Thanks so much in adance. mj oh hboot is 1.46

You should NOT have upgraded, you could have rooted from 1.5, but I m pretty sure you cannot root form 2.1 yet...

Well he probably didn't know that...and I might be mistaken but I THINK you can root the Eris 2.1 as long as your hboot isn't 1.49

Hopefully you're right...I did some pretty extensive searching in hopes of rooting my wife.......................................................................................'s eris (kidding) and that is the conclusion I came to for now...
