Corporate Sync

When I first synced the phone with Microsoft Exchange, I was receiving my department email instantaneously (or so it seems) without issues. Now all of a sudden, my email is only being sent/pushed every 10-15 mins. It's pretty important that this goes back to its old roots of instant receipt. Can anyone advise?
