Contact Transfer Question

So right now I have an LG EnV2 with Verizon. Will verizon be able to transfer my contacts from this phone to my Droid X when it comes in? What about saved texts / images? Just trying to avoid plugging in all my numbers into Google Contacts if I don't have too...

Here Verizon no longer transfer contacts since they offer free online backup. To upload to gmail is fairly simple. Save your contacts as csv file and upload to gmail. Which in turn will upload to your phone.

Ah yes with Verizon's Backup Assistant Application. That saves a lot of trouble thanks. What about saved texts/ images? I suppose I could just email them to myself for now...

Backup assistant will work too. If you already have the enV do you use that already? It is free if you are signed up to manage your account online.
