Considering HTC DNA

My big question is reliability. How many of you have had this phone break down or have long term problems? Any other major concerns with it?

I have loved the phone from the minute I got it. Even after I dropped it and had to get a replacement! Love the interface of HTC 's SenseUI and the big screen. More then thrilled with battery life. My only gripe is the way the stock email handles attachments (I can't just 'save', but have to open the file in the pdf viewer and choose 'save'). I have read from some about the SIM card errors, but you go to Verizon, they can swap out for free. Use Dropbox or Box, apps in the Playstore for free cloud storage. Dropbox auto sends up existing photos, and each photo you take thereafter. I use Google Music to cloud storage my music. That way I can just backup my texts and factory reset whenever I want to.

In the tech world it always seems that whenever a new product is available the negatives will outrun all its capabilities. Namely cellphones. I have had this phone for nearly 4 months now. No SIM card issues, no GPS issues, no location unavailable issues, no app/widget issues or the like. Its a great device

I've had it for 6 weeks. Love it. Awesome capabilities. I have had the SIM card issue twice now. I was upset about it but I cleaned the SIM card and put a piece of clear tape over the SIM card slot (don't see with a cover on) and have been soild for a few weeks now. Hope it was just dirt getting into slot as card had a film of dirt on it. Still, I just enjoy the heck out of this phone. I love the camera and the HD video is great. Record my sons at their sporting events and show the grandparents when we visit.....live 100 miles away...... I also really enjoy the beats audio through headphones or a bluetooth speaker. Really makes a noticeable upgrade in sound. I'm sure we can all go on and on but just go play with one at store to convince yourself.

Sent from my DNA.

I've had it since December 2012 and absolutely love it. I do treat it as a precious, delicate device, however, because it is! And, I don't use a case because I like it the way it is. Therefore, I'm REALLY careful handling it, taking out of pocket, etc.

Wife has this phone, she had 2 minor problems so far. First the plastic cover for mini-usb fell off. Second she was getting a "no network" or some such error for a short while until the recent ota update. So overall it has been very reliable, recommended.
