Connecting to WiFi

Prior to upgrading to Ginger Bread I was able to connect to a WiFi network that was not broadcasting it's SSID. Now I cannot make the connection. Nothing else has changed except for the GB upgrade.

Hoping someone has a solution besides turning on SSID broadcast

Phone is stock.
