CM10 UNOFFICIAL (BETA)

for Droid Razr M (XT907)

Consumer and Developer Edition

Well I have been working since release pretty much on getting this to a semi functional state....So here it is CM10 (4.1.2) for the Droid Razr M. This will work on both the retail consumer edition with SafeStrap3 and on the developer edition with CWM or TWRP recovery.

Thanks as always to:
Hashcode for always answering my questions
DroidTh3ory for getting me into this
Epinter for helping me get the ball rolling and fixing wifi and other things
Google for the source and awesome android
CM for all the mods and code fixes

OK first things first:

SafeStrap Version 3 for Consumer edition can be found here: http://goo.im/devs/H...rap-3.05.20.apk

Follow the install and use instructions here: http://blog.hash-of-...w-to-safestrap/

Working features:
Data: Should come up in 4G now
Voice Calls: Both speaker phone and handset speaker now
SMS/MMS: You may get random texts from VZWNMN Google for instructions to disable this
WIFI: Working in SafeStrap also thanks to some init*rc magic
Wifi Hotspot: Working
Bluetooth: Appears to work fine tested with headset
Camera: Fully funcitonal

What doesn't work (that I know of):
Wifi direct, NFC

CyanogenMod10-Alpha for standard over-the-counter Consumer Razr M's and Developer Edition Razr M's.

If interested, would suggest in depth review of everything CM (CyanogenMod).
CM is basically AOSP (Android Open Source Program) Vanilla (or plane-jane) operating system code, that has been modified by the CM-Team for various device compatibility (in this case the Razr M platform).

Thanks!

I've been enjoying the work you and Hashcode have been doing for the Motorola phones. I've been using a Droid 3 and just got a Razr M. So now I'm looking forward to playing around on it as well.

Thanks again for all the hard work.

So, working on the install and it seems there's not really enough space for both the stock image and a second image. As soon as I create even the smallest boot slot with SS3, the stock install complains about there not being enough room. I've moved all user apps to the external SD. Any other options for freeing up enough space?

Effectively, with only stock system apps (and upgrades) installed, I've got 2.43GB free on the internal SD which is just barely enough to make 1 more slot.

Okay, this is weird, I've used Titanium Backup to move apps to the external SD card but they appear to be moving back. I need to investigate with them and then look at this again.

!!!BUMPED FROM THE PAST!!!

Where can i get all of these project files? I know this is quite old but I am repairing an xt907 for a family member and with current build bootloader is locked so this seems to be my only option left. Any help is much appreciated.
