Storm? I am guessing you are talking about the "Bedside Mode" of the Storm 2?

In any case, there is a Clock Widget that you can put up on one of your screens, or click on the "Alarm & Timer" app to see the clock display, and finally, when you lock the phone, there is a big huge Clock on that screen before you "swipe" your finger to unlock it. Those are the only three things I know of native to the Droid X.

When I dock mine, it automatically brings up a clock. Not just plug it in to charge it, but dock it on the multimedia dock.

I was referring to the storm 1 but I'm sure it's the same. Thank you. I will try these suggestions.

Ahhh.. That is probably my issue. No dock yet. Thanks. I have ordered one and I'm in a holding pattern on that.

Costco s. Cal had a dual docking station package on sale.

I bought one last week for 39 bucks. Comes with home dock and power cord and a car dock with car charger.

Don't know how I have gone this long without either cradle. They r really good to have.

Get 'Dock Simulator' from the App Store. It solved a similar problem for me. Plus it's Free.
