Chomp not working with virtual keyboard!

Hey all. I've had my Droid for less than a week now and I love it, and because of this place I downloaded Chomp. Unfortunately, the virtual keyboard is no longer inputting into the text boxes (horizontal and vertical). The text will be open, I'll tap the text box, the keyboard will come up, but text will never be placed in the text box, even though the dictionary recognizes what I'm typing. Anyone know what's going on?

Weird -- I downloaded Chomp today for the first time and it seems to be working just fine w/ the virtual keyboard. Perhaps try reinstalling?

I've had it for a while. It just started doing that today. I ended the task and now it's working again.. Just weird that it was doing that.

I have seen this with Chomp and Handcent. I have also seen it on some note applications. Actually...on the notes it will still type, but nothing shows up in the box when you do. When you back out and go back in all the typing is there. Strange stuff.....
