Good Deal on Cheap, Personalized Skins

I Found a pretty sweet deal at Unique Skin Guards. You can personalize a skin for your phone and get it shipped for a total of $4.72 by using code SAVE50 in the checkout screen. Right now I have a clear skin on my phone, which I really like, but it may be nice to design my own for my phone so I am the only person that has it. Seems like a good deal if I could just figure out what kind of design to put on it.

the code worked for me a couple of months ago when i bought one for my droid. i have been buying skins from them for a few years now: lg chocolate, samsung omina, droid 1, 2nd gen ipod nano and i think i'll order one for my x (not too crazy about the design, tho). good product, specially for 5 bucks shipped.

Which one of the skins is the one that will discount down? They have 2 types. Scratch Resistant and Clear Protective. They are $19.99 and $24.99. They also have the Gel one though I doubt thats the one you are referring to.

i think it is for all types. the last one i bought was a gel for the droid and it was pretty cool. it makes the phone bulkier, tho. i might get a gel for the x.

most of mine looked like this. this is one from my chocolate that i stuck on a door. i edited it, though for family viewing...hehehe. looks kind of crappy cause it was peeled off but i didn't have any orange peel.

Do these skins offer any protection to the phone or do they just look cool? I really like them and am super interested (even if no discount) but not if it's just a cute thing that won't offer any protection. Clearly, if I drop my phone (Incredible) off of a building, nothing will protect it. But what if I just drop it out of my hand? Anyone have any experience/insight with these things helping? Thanks! I think they look really cool.

I think its just a sticker really. It should protect against scratches but that's probably it
