Charter email issues

I have a customers phone that is not working well with his Charter internet email...at first it wouldnt let him delete anything now he is not getting his charter emails...any advise?

I could be wrong.. but if I remember right smtp won't work unless your on charters network. (So no 3g for sending. Wifi only, when on charter) and, if they have authenticate to smtp prior to downloading mail, that could be causing the issue. Again, that's only a possibility.

I have a Charter account set up, and it was acting pretty flaky at first, it seemed to be freaking out trying to download all messages in my inbox (a bunch) still marked as unread. I ended up marking all as read and moving everything into an archive folder, emptying my inbox. It's been pretty solid since...........

After many phone calls to Verizon and Charter
My fix was to go into setup on the Charter emails accounts and forward the email to the Droid email and leaving a copy on the server.
Both computer and Drois now receive and are happy.
