Car mount

I have a Motorola PFC50-66802 windshield/dash mount.

I have a Motorola Razr MAXX phone. I don't know if I have all of the parts and pieces or not. I can get my phone nto the holder, and the part that slides into the phone blocks any way to get a charger into it.

Am I missing something, (have I lost part of it), or have I just forgotten how to use it?

I have that same mount from when I had the RAZR MAXX. The bottom USB connector is pushed up into the phone bottom after you insert the phone into the mount. Make sure you pull it down before inserting the phone into the mount. Once the phone is properly seated in the mount, the bottom should push up into place without any resistance. You may have to jiggle it around slightly but it would slide into place for me with no difficulty.

You are right. BUT, how do you power it up? The power port is covered.
