Car Mount

Has anyone heard any word on if they are going to make a car mount so you can use the Droid as a Mobile GPS ?

Yes there is...its available on Big Red's website and I think Moto's the the same price of $29.99 ... Happy hunting :icon_ banana:

Ha, on an off note I noticed something pretty cool today.
I layed my phone on top of my case with the magnetic clasp and it went into car dock (Navigation) mode.
I had been wondering how it knew when it was in the car mount and now I know.

There are four magnets in the device and when lined up correctly (based on the dock) it will go into the correct mode. Here is a video of it in action from Engadget.

Very interesting, good info, but I still went ahead and splurged and bought the Moto dock and dash mount, lol

I have yet to see the Multi-Media dock on the website...could you possibly link me to it

Sorry man, I had the Verizon guy order mine and have it shipped to my house.
They had sold out of all of them in the first hour after the store opened.

All Im seeing on their site is the car mount.
